Domestic Court Caseworkers
HomeFront's domestic court caseworkers support complainants with safety planning, understanding the court process, referrals to community and legal resources, counselling and treatment needs, advocacy and immigration status updates. Complainants are contacted by the domestic court caseworkers, when possible, prior to the accused's first appearance or as soon after as possible in order to provide them with updates and information regarding the accused's case. They also provide risk assessment information to the court based on the complainant’s information and circumstances.
