HOW WE HELP
HomeFront seeks to achieve its mission by coordinating major systems and driving systemic change through specialized case management, Indigenous initiatives, and collaboration. Our services support individuals and families experiencing domestic violence.
HomeFront’s case managers provide specialized, wrap-around support to victims in domestic violence incidents where charges have been laid and the case is entering into the justice system.
Since inception, HomeFront has worked to support innovative Indigenous domestic violence programming. Today, HomeFront is a part of two initiatives that include work with Indigenous Communities: the Calgary Indigenous Court and Safety of Indigenous Women in Urban Settings.
Partnership and collaboration are central to HomeFront’s success in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence. By working alongside our partners, we have been able to achieve outcomes that are only possible through collaborative work.
